FBN General Insurance, a subsidiary of FBNInsurance, recently won the 2019 Most Innovative Insurance Company Award presented by Information Technology Association of Nigeria (ITAN) recently.
The award was premised on the local content drive of FBN General Insurance in the course of the year as the company increasingly leverage technology across all of its relevant process points.
Founded in 1991, ITAN is an association of over 350 Information Technology (IT) driven companies in Nigeria that seeks to promote Information Technology literacy and penetration in Nigeria. The Association also promotes membership interest in the area of trade, public policy formulation and negotiations with government on IT policy matters.
Commenting on the latest award, the Head, Information Technology, FBN General Insurance, John Agbai, thanked the Association for maintaining its status as a credible organisation over the years and dedicated the award to its parent company, FBNInsurance, the staff, Management and Board of Directors of FBN General Insurance, Management as well as its loyal customers for their unwavering support and trust. “For several reasons, ITAN Award remains one of the most sought after for many companies that leverage on Innovation in respect to technology.

Recall that FBN General Insurance won the Great Place to Work (Small-Sized Organisations category) in 2019.
