The pivotal place of risk management for the survival of government and enterprises is being advocated in the book, entitled “Risk Management and Other Professions” to debut in Lagos on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Venue is the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Kofo Abayomi, Lagos, starting from 10:00am.
A release issued by Engineer Mike Udonquak of the Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON), disclosed that the author, Engineer Jacob Adeosun wrote the book in view of the need to further underscore the place of risk management in corporate institutions, as well as a prudential strategy for government in and out of economic recession.
The book presentation which would attract the crème of the risk management profession and other critical stakeholders in the nation’s economy would have the Director General of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Mr.SegunAjayi-Kadri as the Chief Presenter, while the Executive Vice Chairman of Insurance Brokers of Nigeria Ltd, High Chief Prosper Okpue would be the Chairman. It is expected that the Lagos State Governor, Mr.AkinwunmiAmbode would be the Special Guest of Honour.
