The Lagos State Government has deployed Engr. (Mrs) Ibilola Kaunmu to Lagos State Residents’ Registration Agency (LASRRA) as the new General Manager.She took over from Mrs. Olukemi Adelusi who retired statutorily on Friday, 30th August, 2019 after 32 years of meritorious service.
A statement by the Public Affairs Unit, LASRRA, Mrs. Ajoke Lawal, noted that the primary responsibility of the Agency is for Data capturing which would later translate to building a reliable database of all Residents. The Mission of the government as regards this is for efficient planning and allocation of resources in the State.
Mrs. Kaunmu started her career in Public Service at the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) where she rose to the position of the senior manager in the Special Project Department and was absorbed into the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as an Assistant Director, Power Department.
Prior to her deployment as the 6th General Manager of the Agency, Mrs. Kasunmu was the General Manager, Lagos State Electricity Board. She was appointed in 2015 after having proved herself as the Head of Power Department in the Ministry. Ibilola Kasunmu was a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Akoka Yaba. She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria(COREN).
