A staffer of Noor Takaful Insurance Limited Sanusi Muheez Ishola, has emerged as the Insurance Ambassador for year 2025/2026.

He came top in the keenly contested Ambassadorial competition organised by the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) yesterday at the grand finale of the Insurance Week in Lagos.

Adesina, Olamilekan Waris, also of Noor Takaful Insurance Limited, emerged the 1st Runner Up, while the 2nd Runner Up position was won by Popoola, Fatihat Adedoyin of Linkage Assurance Plc.

The CIIN also awarded participants of the Hackathon Competition of which first position was won by the Insurevate team, comprising; Toluwanii Oguntoye, Odunayo Ojeremi, Adaramola Simeon, Chukwuebuka Arueze and Tobi Emmanuel.

The second position, was won by Team Aegis; with members such as Feyisayo Yusuf, Tolulope Ajao, Emmanuel Idumebor, Adelani Babatunde, Umamah Tajudeen and Balogun Sulaimon.

Third position, went to Assured Team; made up of Delight Obi, Victoria John, Esther Akuyi, Mohammed Konateh and Tobiloba Ogunbanjo.

The Best Supporting Ministry Department and Agency (MDA) award went to Code of Conduct Tribunal, while the Best Insurance Student at WAEC Examination is Miss. Mogaji, Yetunde Amunat

The teacher of the Award-Winning Students is Mrs. Egbuonu Chizoba

Top Six Secondary Schools with the highest numbers of Student Enrolment in Insurance, were; Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu, Ogun State.

Ijaye Ojokoro Senior High Second, Ojokoro, Ogun State.

Araromi Secondary Secondary School, Iganmu, Lagos State.

Egba High School Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Iganmode Grammar School 2, Ota, Ogun State.

Iganmode Grammar School, Ota, Ogun State.

State with the Highest Number of Students’ Enrolment in Insurance (WAEC) is Ogun State.
