Joy seems to be coming to annuitants of African Alliance Insurance Plc as there is a move by the company, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and National Pension Commission (PenCom) to pay the over nine months unpaid pension benefits.

Inspenonline reliably gathered that the payment will be made next week.

Affirming the payment, the Director-General of PenCom Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, in a recent meeting with aggrieved retired Police Officers, who are agitating their exit from the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), told them that the pension benefits will be paid next week.

One of the affected annuitants also told this medium that a member of staff of African Alliance Insurance told him that the benefits will be paid next week.
