LASU students promote insurance education

The Actuarial Science and Insurance Students’ Association (ASISA) of Lagos State University (LASU) has continued to promote insurance awareness and education among the youth population.

Determined to ensure that youth effectively maximize benefits from insurance, the association on Friday, August 9, 2024, organised Insurance Summit 3.0 which held at 3in1 conference Hall in LASU.

The event registered over 200 students in attendance and individuals from various insurance firms and members of staff of the prestigious department at the event equipped the students on better understanding on securing a successful career in the Insurance Industry which was the theme of the programme.

The students were entertained and further enlightened by the competitive inter level quiz and also the parliamentary session.

Representatives from various insurance firms like Linkage Assurance Plc, Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc and Capital express Assurance Plc were highly recognized with Linkage Assurance Plc been the lead sponsor for the event, which was a resounding Success.
