The Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) will on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, holds its annual conference and awards.

The events will hold at Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, 13/15 Kofo Abayomi Street, victoria Island, Lagos. The theme is “INSURANCE AGENCYPRENUER, THE DYNAMICS AND CREATING SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT IN NIGERIA.”
The National President, ARIAN, Gbadebo Olameru, said the objective of the conference is to demystify the values in insurance penetration by increasing recruitment in the agency business to enable insurance agents increase knowledge as an entrepreneur hence fast tracking economic growth by harnessing the opportunity in the insurance retail business.

He noted that the focal point of the day will however be the National Awards ceremony, Elections and AGM where over 2000 registered insurance agents from all over Nigeria are expected to participate in the conference which shall attract distinguished speakers/ discussants from within and outside the insurance industry and agents that have distinguished themselves by their performances and contributions to the development of their respective insurance companies will be celebrated

“Monetary policies and unemployment in Nigeria has a dynamic effect on the indices and the growth preposition of a developing nation which affects the growth of any sector in the economy.

“Research has shown in developed nations that a well-structured insurance industry using the agency model as a cataract for growth can increase employment in Nigeria. Achieving this milestone will not only boost the underwriters’ premium and profit margin but will also deepen penetration and increase the industry contribution to GDP.

To this end, we the Association of Registered Insurance agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) invites you as SPECIAL GUEST OF HONOR to our Annual conference to deliberate on prevailing circumstances as regards increasing agency entrepreneurship as a tool to create employment in Nigeria,” he posited.
