ARIAN takes insurance to schools, celebrates children’s day

The Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) has rolled out plans to take insurance awareness to schools across the nation.

Its National President, Gbadebo Olamerun, said the initiative was conceived to enlighten the public on the relevance of children educational plan.

According to him, the ARIAN Education Children’s Day Initiative will be celebrated on the May 27, 2016, with a mass marketing across all neighborhood primary and secondary school around the environment the agents operate across Nigeria, adding that individual companies’ children educational plans will be marketed during the campaign.

He noted that the association’s National Executives will be paying a courtesy visit to the Caleb International School in Ikosi in Lagos to educate the Principal and its pupil about the importance of insurance on the life of every Nigerian child.

He maintained that the plan is also aimed at highlighting the need for insurance social security system to guarantee the education of children who are the leaders of tomorrow, stressing that a well nurtured child makes the nation strong and sound.

“This is an initiative to drive the sales of children educational plan across all the composite insurance companies through all our members (agents) and to enlighten the public on the relevance of children educational plan,” he said.

He said the initiative is supported by Promasidor, Chivita and Deli Food.
