The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) is working assiduously to project the image of insurance brokers by appending the signatures of net worth Nigerians to be brand ambassadors, who would help propagate the good news of insurance and duties of brokers.

According to the President of NCRIB, Dr. (Mrs) Bola Onigbogi, brokers fraternity as at present, has the likes of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Eze Leslie Eke, Eze Gbakagbaka of Evo Kingdom, River State, as its brand ambassadors.

She noted that the initiative to have the net worth Nigerians as ambassadors was a deliberate strategy to get to every stratum of Nigerian population.

“Our mandate is to project the image of the industry and particularly insurance broking. We have continued to work through the Council’s Area Committees to reach out to members of the public,” she said.

Still on projecting the brokers brand, she said within the last one year, her administration had visited the six geopolitical zones with the aim of propagating the positive image of the Broking fraternity to the grassroots via the Area Committee structure, stressing that this has yielded positive results.
