Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has joined other well-wishers in congratulating Prince (Dr) Feyisayo Soyewo, past President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and the Olori Omo Oba of Ago-Iwoye on his 70th birthday.

In a letter of congratulation addressed to the celebrator, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo extolled the virtues of Prince Soyewo who is also the Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ago Iwoye in Ogun State and former Chairman of African Insurance Brokers Association (AIBA), noting that his legendary achievement as a foremost Insurance Broker and community leader has been etched in history of the nation.

Obasanjo opined that beyond the strings of awards bestowed on him by several reputable institution and communities across Nigeria, the conferment of the distinguished honour of the Member of the Federal Republic is an attestation to Prince Soyewo’s significant contributions to the progress of his fatherland.

In a similar message of felicitations, former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel noted that the pragmatic leadership of Prince Soyewo in the profession of insurance in Nigeria as well as his pivotal contributions to his community as a philanthropist have qualified him as one of the proudest products of Ogun State and the Nigerian nation.

Otunba Daniel noted that Prince Soyewo’s roles as Past President of the NCRIB would be particularly noted in view of the strong commitment he gave during his tenure to the signing of the NCRIB Act, through which the Council and its members have today become highly respected and occupy a conspicuous place in the comity of professions in Nigeria and beyond.
