Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has emerged the Corporate Brand of the Year for 2015, at the just-concluded Inspenonline Media Awards held at the Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference and Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, on August 12, 2016.

The nomination for the Awards, according to the organisers of the event began in the month of March 2016, having sent out nomination notices to all the underwriting companies in the country, Pension Organizations and other Financial Institutions as well as members of the general public. The Award is a testament to the company’s commitment to developing a distinct Brand image for the ever-evolving Underwriting Firm in the country and beyond.

It will be recalled that Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in succession bagged the CSR Company of the Year Award for 2013 and 2014 respectively from the same organisers of the Insurance and Pensions Award some years back and went ahead to win the most Friendly Media Brand of the Year Award in the Insurance Industry put together by the National Association of Insurance and Pension Correspondents (NAIPCO).

The Head of Corporate Communications and Brand management for the Underwriting Firm, Segun Bankole said the Award is a confirmation to the deliberate attempt of creating and nurturing a unique Brand in the Insurance and Financial landscape of the Nigerian nation and beyond.

He equally mentioned that the company will not rest on its oars in upholding professionalism and strict adherence to corporate governance while maintaining the position of a responsible corporate entity to further project the industry both in Nigeria and abroad.
