Presidents, business leaders and entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries will be in Abuja from 11 to 14 July for the 2018 Annual Meetings and 25th Anniversary celebrations of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).
The event, taking place at the Transcorp Hilton, is being held under the theme, “Celebrating the Past. Shaping the Future”. 2,500 participants, including academics, trade financiers and prominent bankers, will gather there to discuss issues around intra-African trade and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.
President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria, the event’s chief host, will be among six African Heads of State expected to be in attendance.
Also attending will be Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Dangote Group, Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Finance of Nigeria, and a host of other African and international personalities.
Afreximbank is inviting representatives of the media to attend and cover the event. Accreditation will be provided to media representatives after they register.
