The Lagos State Safety Commission (LSSC) has called on the public to disregard any illegal purported summons; abatement notice; seal orders by some unscrupulous members of the public who carry out unlawful and illegal activities on it behalf.

The Director-General of LSSC, Lanre Mojola, stated this in a statement, adding that the commission dissociates herself from such persons, who have branded their vehicle; forged the commission’s official letter headed paper; abatement notice and some official paraphernalia worn by officials of his commission.

He said the commission is presently undergoing restructuring aimed at repositioning it for improved service delivery in line with the commission’s law.

“Anyone found using the commission’s logo to carry out unofficial duties will be arrested and prosecuted in line with relevant laws of Lagos State as security personnel have been contacted to carry our such directives,” he posited.

Mojola implored those that need enquiries to visit the commission on Block 18B, 2nd & 3rd floors, The Secretariat, Alausa-Ikeja, Lagos.
