PROTOCOLS

I have the utmost delight and privilege to welcome you all to the third edition of the Executive Breakfast Seminar Series put together by the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

The Executive Breakfast Seminar Series have been packaged to periodically update professionals and practitioners alike, on the prevailing global issues pertaining to Insurance practice.

The theme of this edition of the Executive Breakfast Seminar is titled; ‘POSITIONING THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY FOR DIVERSIFICATION’ and would be facilitated by MR. BUKAR KYARI, Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Investor Protection Fund of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

I wish to commend the efforts of the Institute’s Secretariat and the MCPD Committee of the Institute for the successes of the previous editions of the Breakfast Seminar and for keying into one of the Institute’s primary objectives which is to encourage and assist insurance professionals to regularly update their knowledge in order to respond positively to changes in the business environment and meet the challenging needs of their clients.

May I seize this opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge Custodian and Allied Plc. for partnering with the Institute in hosting this programme. It is therefore my firm belief that the Insurance industry will benefit greatly from initiatives like this and wish to solicit the support and participation of Insurance institutions in subsequent editions of this series.

I once again welcome you to this event and reiterate the Institute’s continuous commitment to enhancing the knowledge and skill capacity of its members through the Institution and sustenance of programmes such as the Breakfast Seminar.

Thank you for your attention and have a wonderful seminar.
