The Nigerian Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme sector (NUPCPS) has called on all retirees under the CPS to go for biometrics capturing that would facilitate a pension increments and other benefits from the government.
In an announcement notice that is presently circulating, the National Chairman of NUPCPS Sylva Nwaiwu, implored all retirees under the CPS to go to the states secretariats of the NUPCPS to get their biometrics captured.
The announcement said: “All retirees under the contributory pension scheme are here by invited to a data capturing and verification exercise taking place in all the states of the federation and the FCT, inorder to enhance payment of pension increments and other benefits being championed by the NUPCPS sector.
“Newcomers are expected to come with a passport photograph and a token fee for data form and an identity card.
“Date is January 20-23, 2025, time 10am daily.
“It is time for CPS retirees to come out of slavery and have financial freedom in Nigeria, come one come all.”
