The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has granted certificate of compliance to AIICO Insurance Plc and 191 firms to seek federal government’s contract this year.
This was contained in the schedule of employers issued with certificate of compliance with provisions of the Pension Refund Act 2014 as at January 7, 2020, published on PenCom’s website.
The pension industry regulator stated that in 2019, AIICO Insurance Plc contributed N154.47 million for 291 employees and that Setraco Nigeria Limited, contributed N566.70 million for 3733 employees.
According PenCom, Chapel Hill Denham Advisory Limited, contributed N156.62 million for 13 employees; Chapel Hill Denham Advisory partners, N33.65 million, for 37 employees and Jully & Partners Insurance brokers, N1.40 million for five employees.
Many other firms from different sectors also got certificates permitting them to seek government’s contracts.
