The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has won the Social Economic Impact and Corporate Governance awards in the Africa Pension Awards which held on Tuesday in Abuja.
Premium Pension Limited, a Nigerian Pension Fund Administrator, also won the Wide Coverage and Inclusion and Corporate Governance Innovative awards.
Another Nigerian firm, STANBIC IBTC Pension Managers Limited won the Information and Communications Technology award.
Other winners are Social Security Regulatory Authourity of Tanzania which emerged the second and Axis Pension Managers of Ghana, emerging first in the Risk Management category. N Wealth of Ghana, National Social Economic Fund of Sudan; National Pension Regulatory Authourity of Ghana and National Institute of Social Security of Guinea Bissau also won awards in the social economic impact, corporate governance and Information and Communications Technology categories.
