The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) is set to hold its
fitness and health program tomorrow, Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Lagos.
The event which is billed for 7am, at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, is an exclusive platform for insurance awareness with the unique value of showcasing insurance organisations and their offerings.
The annual event, used to be popularly known as the Fitness Walk, however, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, has morphed into the Fitness and Health Program.
According to the CIIN, Director-General, Abimbola Tiamiyu, the event is a symbolic fitness test for practitioners aimed at guaranteeing fitness of body and soundness of mind for the serious business of insuring the Nigerian Nation.
She noted that those to participate in the event include; insurance and reinsurance organisations; broking and loss adjusting firms, trade associations – the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA); Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB); Institute of Loss Adjuster of Nigeria (ILAN); Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) and the Regulatory Body (NAICOM).
She said attractions in the event include;
Exercise and Health tips by a fitness expert; Mobile Ambulance Service; LASTMA traffic controlled assistance all the way; Music and Entertainment and display of participating companies’ banners.
