The leaderships of Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) have continued to provide supports to members battling with challenges of renewing their operational licenses through National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) portal.
President of NCRIB, Rotimi Edu, on the issue, said it is a known fact that some members have been having issues loading their documents to the NAICOM portal as a prerequisite for the renewal of their licences. The Council, he said had engaged with the Commissioner for Insurance, Sunday Thomas, through the Help Desk, and he has been quite helpful in resolving the issues.
Edu noted that the NCRIB secretariat has sent out a link to members having same challenges, urging them to adhere to the instructions to allow the Help Desk intercede for them with NAICOM.
ARIAN on its part has continued to engage the regulator on how to assist members of which some of them have been on the issue for over one year.
