The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers has felicitated Segun Balogun, Managing Director of AXIS Insurance Brokers for the successful completion of his course at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru (NIPSS).
In a letter signed by the President of the Council, Mr. Rotimi Edu, who incidentally is also a product of the prestigious institution, Mr. Balogun’s attainment was described as an additional pep to the aspirations of the Council and the industry for enhanced manpower development of its professionals.
Balogun, an astute insurance professional has remained a valuable member of the insurance industry, having occupied the positions of Managing Director of WAPIC Insurance Plc and LASACO Assurance Plc before founding his Brokerage Firm, AXIS Insurance Brokers Limited.
As a former Council Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), former Council Member of Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) and member of strategic Committees of the NCRIB, Balogun’s new position and knowledge would bring significant value to insurance growth in Nigeria.
