Normalcy has returned to the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) as the management has signed agreement with aggrieved staff on issues that fuelled the three days protest that rocked the commission.

The Head, Corporate Affairs NAICOM, ‘Rasaaq ‘Salami, told Inspen that the workers have returned to work having signed an agreement with the management.

“Normalcy has returned to NAICOM today as workers returned to work following agreement signed between management and the staff union,” he said.

The workers embarked on strike on Monday to press for the implementation of a collective agreement between the management and the union signed in December 2015. It was learnt that in the agreement, the management agreed to release the 2016 training plan/schedule to enable staff know through their respective heads of department or the approved commission’s information media when they were to embark on their training to prepare ahead and other demands.
