Good retirement life is only achieved by those who think and plan towards it, hence irresponsible people, careless about it and can never enjoy better life at old age.
As every good thing comes with a price, good retirement requires careful planing and discipline, an exercise, which can only be done by responsible people.
Why responsible people plan for retirement
*To avoid old age poverty
Responsible people detest poverty and would do anything possible to prevent it. Their hate for poverty spurs them to embrace all available legitimate channels to invest towards a good retirement life.
*Self esteem
Responsible people would never lower their self esteem, hence would avoid what would expose them to public ridicle in retirement.
*Beginning of another phase of life
Responsible people see retirement as a beginning of another phase of their life with great opportunities, but the irresponsible see it as end of life.
*Role model
As people look up to responsible people, they would never allow anything that would lower their status, hence they would ensure they finish well and strong financial.
*Good legacies
Responsible people are driven by the quest of leaving good legacies. They keep in mind the principle of sustainability as they never wish to have a better yesterday.
According to the holy book, ‘By their fruit you shall know them’. This also implies that you are judged by the things you do. So, evaluate how responsible you are by what you are keeping for the future – retirement.
