*ARIAN, Insurfeel Initiative donate N12 million insurance covers to 5 attendees

AIICO Insurance Plc has won the 2024 Association of Registered Insurance Agents (ARIAN) football tournament, taken home N500,000 prize money for the first position.
Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc came second with a prize money of N300,000 and Prudential Zenith Insurance came third with N200,000.
ARIAN and Insurfeel Initiative also donated Uni-personal insurance covers to five people at the event. The beneficiaries were – a serving military officer, a woman hawking snacks and soft drinks and three of the tournament officiating personnel.
National President of ARIAN Olakunle Odewunmi, congratulated AIICO Insurance for winning the tournament and also commended other team for putting up a good fight in the tournament.
He appreciated the management of all the insurance companies that participated in the tournament for supporting their team.
Odewunmi commended Insurfeel Initiative for the insurance cover donation partnership, stating that the donation has enhanced the status of the tournament, as it has helped in leaving lasting impacts on people outside the insurance sector.
He noted that another unique feature introduced into the tournament was the prize money, stating that new concepts would be introduced as the tournament progresses.
National Publicity Secretary, Ogunwuyi Kayode said the tournament has remained a unifying factor in the insurance industry, stating that ARIAN would continue to improve on the tournament by introducing unique concepts that would positively impacts participants, insurance industry and the country.
