Determined to upscale the skill of insurance managers, the Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) is set to hold its annual managers’ training.
The event which is billed for Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Conference and Exhibition Centre, located at 10, Nurudeen Olowopopo Drive, Behind MKO Garden, CBD Alausa Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme: Exponential Growth In The Insurance Business In Our Present Economy’ is expected to educate the managers on retainer-ship; recruitment; professionalism, business development and more.
Erudite Speakers that will be paraded at the event include; Commissioner for Insurance, Sunday Thomas; Rector, College of Insurance and Financial Management, Dr. Yeside Abiodun; Managing Director, Mutual Benefits Life Assurance Limited, Ademola Ifagbayi; Head, Agency, Allianz Insurance Nigeria Plc, Ashish Mishra; Managing Director, Dallas Insurance Brokers Nigeria Limited, Kingsley Obuive and National Sales Manager (Agency 2) Leadway Assurance Company Limited, Chris Uzor.
ARIAN National President Odewunmi Olakunle; implores managers to subscribe to the training by registering with N5,000 before the event.
He invited all retail team and agency managers to be part of the training, whilst urging all stakeholders in the insurance industry to play their part in the development of the sector.
“The Association will continue to promote professionalism in the industry by encouraging our members to go for certification training and also work more on capacity building because we believe knowledge is key.
“The Association will continue to organise seminars , training and symposium to make our members More effective and efficient,” he said.
Olakunle said the association is poised to have a formidable and professional agents through the development of managers, who will cascade the knowledge acquired in the programme to educate their various market team.
