The Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN), has called on insurance practitioners and the general public to be wary of unscrupulous activities
of persons impersonating its National President and members of the National Executive Committee of the association.
ARIAN in a statement, said its National President Olakunle Odewunmi, wants to alert all Insurance Practitioners, Principals of all Insurance Companies and Members of the Concerned public about the unscrupulous activities of persons impersonating the National President and the members of the National Executive Committee of the Association to mislead and defraud unsuspecting organisations, companies and institutions.
The association submitted that any person dealing with such individuals would be doing so at his/her own risk, stating that the leadership of the association ably led by Olakunle Odewunmi, shall bear no liability for such occurrence.
The members of the Public are hereby enjoined to disregard all entreatries by these criminally minded individuals and advised to stay vigilant, ARIAN posited.
It said should the need arise to make necessary confirmations from the Association, the public should kindly reach the following numbers without any hindrances.

According to the association a letter of disclaimer has been sent the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM); Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA); Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB); Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN); all Managing Directors of Insurance Companies in Nigeria, all Registered Insurance Agents in Nigeria and Security and Intelligence Agencies in the Country.
