The West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA) has picked the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mettlehouse Consulting, Barineka Thompson, as paper presenter at the forthcoming WAICA Education Conference billed for November 12-14, 2023 in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Thompson would join the league of Managing Director AiICO Insurance Plc, Babatunde Fajemirokun, who is the lead speaker; Country Manager, Kek Insurance Brokers Limited, Baffour Nketiah-Sarpong, paper presenter; Commissioner of Insurance, Sierra Leone, Arthur Yaskey, Chairman of session and Ag. Commissioner of Insurance, Ghana, Kofi Andoh, Chairman of session.
According to the Sectary General of WAICA Davis Iyasere, the theme of the conference is: ‘Aligning Insurance Practice in the 21st Century’.
He submitted that the President of WAICA Eddie Efekoha, would be the Chief Host, adding that registration is opened on the association’s website.
He said participants are expected from the five WAICA member companies and conference fee is $400 for members and $500 for non members of the association.
