Commercial Director of National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC), Nasrollah Sardashti, said on Sunday that the British and Swedish insurance companies would offer insurance services to Iranian oil tankers after sanctions relief.

Sardashti told IRNA that negotiations have been held for the purpose with two British and a Swedish companies, which are the most famous and well-credited P&I clubs.
He said that representatives from major well-known and reputable companies from the UK, Norway, Sweden, Italy, China, Korea, Taiwan and India have visited Iran and held talks with the NITC, the main carrier of Iranian petroleum.
He added that the companies are active in the ship charter, insurance, fuel supply and service providing on ports.
