Works on the syllabus of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) have been completed, its outgoing Director-General Kola Ahmed, has said.
He disclosed this today at a media parley in Lagos, adding that the syllabus would soon be made public.
The Director-General, who will be retiring by Wednesday, July 20, 2016, also used the avenue to give accounts of his stewardship.
He called on operators to unite in moving the insurance industry forward, whilst also calling for more support for the institute.
He said the institute was able to distribute the insurance textbook it published to aid the study of insurance in schools to 12 states, adding that Information Technology equipment were also given to some tertiary institutions.
