The Guild of Marine surveyors has invited all unregistered practitioners in the marine surveying businesses to associate with the body to enable them enjoy professional support and garner quality knowledge.
The President, Guild of Marine Surveyors Wale Adetoro, gave the call at the 3rd Monday Ogadina annual memorial lecture in Lagos, adding that the Guild appreciate God that three years post the departure of the deceased, the Guild is waxing stronger with new members joining the body.
He commended the seven inducted members for joining the Guild, stating that the Guild’s core value stands on the training of its members and the dishing out of quality and effective service deliveries which the body is determined to sustain.
“Our vision is to be the foremost Marine surveying professional body in Nigeria and this is anchored on our mission of promoting professionalism and advancement of knowledge and expertise in the field of Marine surveying.
“We therefore encourage all stakeholders in the Insurance and Maritime Organisations to patronize our members. You can contact us on any of our contact details stated in the Guild’s Brief.
“At a junction during this event, new corporate and individual members of the Guild will be incorporated. We are inviting all unregistered practitioners out there in the Marine Surveying Businesses to associate with the Guild of Marine surveyors to have a professional body’s support and garner quality knowledge to enhance their practices.
“We give all Glory to our good God who has been sustaining the family of our beloved departed colleague. We salute the courage of Mrs. Nancy Ogadina who is overseeing the running of the company of her late husband. It is our prayer that the Lord will continue to protect us all and grant us good and healthy lives to thrive in our endeavors,” he said.

‘The Blue Economy – Potentials for the Maritime and Insurance industries, while the second paper on Safety in our Waterways handled by Dr. Wilson Arikpo.
