Today’s examination is not just a test of knowledge but a reaffirmation of our commitment to professionalism, integrity and continuous learning, these were the words of the President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) Edwin Igbiti, as the institute, today conducts the year 2024 April diet Professional examination across all centers.
He noted that the insurance industry stands at the precipice of a new era, where the fusion of technology and traditional practices presents unprecedented opportunities and challenges alike, adding that however, to remain relevant and efficient, they must embrace change.
“The digital revolution has given rise to new models of engagement, demanding that we rethink how we connect with our customers, manage risks, and offer services. Artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, and the Internet of Things are not just buzzwords but tools that can help us enhance underwriting, improve claims processing, and deliver personalised customer experiences.
“Today’s examination is not just a test of knowledge but a reaffirmation of our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and continuous learning. It is a celebration of your dedication to mastering the complexities of this industry and a recognition of the pivotal role you play in protecting and enhancing the lives of countless individuals and businesses.As we look ahead, let us be inspired by the opportunities that lie before us,” he said.
Igbiti urged the professionals to forge partnerships, innovate with purpose and lead with compassion, stating that together, they can navigate the uncertainties of the future, driven by the unwavering belief in the power of the industry to make a difference.
He wished the candidates great success in the examination and their future endeavors.
