Insurer promotes third party motor insurance education on social media platforms

Determined to bridge the knowledge gap arising from the enforcement of third party Motor insurance by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and Nigeria Police, the immediate past Vice President, Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) Jegede Kehinde Olatunji, has deployed his social media platforms to educate the public on necessary information required to assist them in the insurance of their vehicles.

The insurance expert, noted that the theme of the sensitisation is: ‘Know More About Motor Insurance’, stressing that the education series would highlight features, benefits and additional new benefits of third party motor Insurance.

According to him, the roles played by insurance agents are also highlighted, whilst relevant features such as cover for fire and theft, how they work as an extension of third party only with attributes and benefits are explained.

He submitted that the education series would continue to identify and highlight on all aspect of insurance, adding that the public needs to be well informed so that they can maximise the enormous benefits offered by insurance.

He implored the public to connect with him on his X handle (formerly Twitter) @jegRiskadviso24 (Kehinde Olatunji) to enable them improve their knowledge on insurance.

He also commended the leadership of NAICOM and Nigeria Police for their commitments to enforcement of the law on third party insurance, stating that the country needs more of such enforcements in all sectors of the economy to engender economic growth and development.

Olatunji said the enforcement would create great benefits to motorists, as they can now drive with the assurance that they have insurance support whenever risk happens.
