A group of insurance companies recently settled a fire claim amounting to $5.1 million.
Inspenonline gathered that the claimant is company located in Ibadan, Oyo state, which raw materials warehouse was gutted by fire last year.
An insurer which participated in the business of providing courage for the firm, told this medium that its share of the claim was $643,000.
The company implored Nigerians to leverage insurance to secure their lives and properties, adding that without insurance, it is difficult to rebound after suffering a loss or mishap.
