Prudential Zenith Life Insurance celebrated International Women’s Day 2024 by hosting a free cancer screening event for women.
The firm said the event was part of its commitments to the “get-inspired inclusion” theme, recognizing the importance of promoting general health and well-being.
The underwriter noted that the free cancer screening event underscores its dedication to giving back to the community and fostering a culture of inclusivity.
It submitted that at the event, women were provided with comprehensive cancer screenings for breast cancer, adding that educational resources on cancer prevention and early detection were also given to participants.
According to the firm, the initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Dorcas Cancer Foundation.

This aligns with the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day – “Invest in women: Accelerate progress” – and reflects our desire to empower women and improve livelihoods,” Executive Director/Chief Commercial Officer at Prudential Zenith Life Insurance, Isioma Olowu, said.
She highlighted that International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women and reflect on progress towards gender equality.
“Our free cancer screening event embodies our commitment to supporting health initiatives and serves as a testament to Prudential’s ethos of being protectors of every life and partners for every future.
“Once again, we use this medium to say Happy International Women’s Day 2024,” she said.
