The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) has honoured its Chairman Lagos Area Committee (LAC) Ademola Olutusin with an Outstanding Service Recognition Award for his selfless and untiring contributions to the growth and progress to the Council and insurance sector.
The award was presented to the NCRIB-LAC Chairman at the recently held 2024 National Insurance Brokers Conference and Exhibition at Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja.
Since assumption of office as Chairman of NCRIB-LAC, Olutusin, has implemented initiatives that have helped boost insurance education and awareness, of which one of them is the Secondary Schools Quiz Competition, which has increased insurance education among students.
His administration also partnered Insurfeel Initiative, a body driving donation of insurance products to the uninsured and uninformed to donate covers worth N15.3 million to six winners of its quiz competition.
NCRIB-LAC under his leadership has also launched insurance education to lofty heights through the inauguration of Insurance Clubs in Secondary Schools across Lagos State.
Olutusin’s administration is also in partnership with an insurance expert to train 1,000 insurance teachers across the country comes January 2025.
Moreso, the Area Committee under his leadership has commenced the printing of 2,000 copies of past West African Examination Council (WAEC) insurance questions, covering a range of five years.
NCRIB-LAC has also opened a Whatsapp platform to accommodate all insurance teachers, while imploring insurance teachers across the country to join the platform.
The President of NCRIB Babatunde Oguntade, applauded Olutusin for his numerous feats, whilst imploring him to continue with his good works.
