NSIA Insurance Limited has set target of having a policyholder in every household in Nigeria and its presence in every corporate entity.
The Managing Director of the forward looking underwriting firm, Moruf Apampa, who was recently appointed, disclosed this at a media conference in Lagos, adding that the firm hopes to be ranked among the top three in the sector in the next five years.
He said the firm would massively engage in the insurance retail space and ensure that Nigeria’s enjoy robust insurance services.
Apampa also submitted that the firm would make insurance appealing and attractive to Nigerians, stressing that the feat would be achieved by researching on what people need and creating products to meet the needs.
He stressed that the company would continue to invest and enhance its technology platforms, which has remained one of the best vehicles to convey products and services to insuring public.
The NSIA Insurance boss said the firm would aggressively expand its operations across states where it is not presently operating, adding that the retail space is top massive for scale.
Apampa posited that the firm would enhance its agency network, adding that 15,000 insurance agents is grossly inadequate for a nation with over 200 million population.
