Chuks Udo Okonta
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Plum Insurance Limited, Barrister (Mrs) Laide Osijo; Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, UBA Pension Custodian Limited, Bayo Yusuf; Publisher/Editor, Inspenonline, Chuks Udo Okonta and others have won the 2019 Peninscope awards, organised by Peninscope Professional Warranty Limited.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Crusadersterling Pension Limited, Niyi Falade and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Crystal Trust Insurance Brokers Limited, Barrister (Mrs.) Ezeibe Ekeoma were also awarded.
The Principal Partner/Chief Executive Officer, Peninscope Professional Warranty Limited, Peter Adediji, at the 3rd Free Public Lecture and Awards Giving Ceremonies in Lagos, said the awards were given to the recipients in recognition of their contributions to insurance, pension sectors and the economy.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, UBA Pension Custodian Limited, Bayo Yusuf (2nd right) receiving the award from Principal Partner/Chief Executive Officer, Peninscope Professional Warranty Limited, Peter Adediji (1st right) and other dignitaries at the event.
According to him, Barrister (Mrs) Laide Osijo, was recognised for her contributions to the insurance broking sector. Barrister (Mrs.) Ezeibe Ekeoma, was awarded for her outstanding role as a female professional in the broking industry; Yusuf and Falade were recognised for their contributions to the development of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), while Chuks, who was awarded the Best Online Insurance and Pension Journalist in 2019, was recognised for his outstanding reportage of the insurance and pension sectors.
