Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited has awarded, NEM Insurance Plc, Stanbic IBTC Insurance, Custodian and Allied Insurance Limited and Custodian Life Assurance Limited for their exceptional performance and contributions to the growth of insurance industry.
The underwriting firms were recognised and awarded at the recently held annual thanksgiving/Christmas Party and Awards hosted by Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited in Lagos, a gathering that brought together prominent figures and stakeholders within the Nigerian insurance industry.
The General Manager of Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited, Sunday Oyeniyi, at the event, provided insights into the inception of the awards and the initiative behind it.
According to him, the initiative was borne out of company’s 2021 Strategy Retreat, stating that one of the strategic initiatives reached was to be having a quarterly performance review for underwriters.
He said the belief was that such review would help to get the best service from insurance companies who are our suppliers and which will in turn help to give better services to clients.
He submitted that this year marked an evolution in the performance review process, as outstanding underwriters were honoured with awards, stressing that while numerous underwriters demonstrated commendable service throughout the year, the four that scored over 80 per cent were recognised for their exceptional performance.
The essence of the award, he said is to encourage underwriters to keep up their good performance and also encourage others to improve their service delivery.
The Managing Director of Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited, Jide Orimolade, graciously extended his appreciation on behalf of the entire Stanbic IBTC staff and board for the noteworthy acknowledgement bestowed upon their organisation.
Orimolade conveyed his sincere gratitude to the chief executive officer and entire staff of Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited for the honour, and with an assurance of unwavering dedication, he pledged that Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited would not simply rest on the laurels of the esteemed award, stressing the organisation’s determination to continue its pursuit of excellence, setting the stage for even greater achievements in the coming year and expressing the hope that Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited would garner further accolades in the upcoming year.
The Managing Director NEM Insurance Plc, Andrew Ikekhua, also expressed his appreciation for the long-standing partnership with Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited on behalf of the board and entire staff of Nem Insurance Plc, stating that the award is a prompt for NEM Insurance Plc to maintain its path of excellence and the delivering of amazing service.
The General Manager of Risk Analyst also commended Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited for meeting claim settlement timelines, praised NEM Insurance for their prompt service delivery and presented them as a company worthy of emulation.
He also commended Cornerstone Insurance Plc for their significant support and flexibility over the years.
