Unitrust Insurance Company Limited, one of the leading general insurers in Nigeria with a track record of great service has changed the location of its Port-Harcourt branch office to a more strategic location on City View, 26A Market Junction, Aba Road, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, John Ijerheime, said
Unitrust insurance is a service-oriented company desirous of an intimate relationship with its customers by understanding the risk exposure inherent in their businesses and proffering solutions, has decided to make its location more accessible.

The company’s report showed that it closed the year 2020 with a Gross Premium Written (GPW) of N3.98 billion, representing a year-on-year growth rate of against N3.53 billion realised during the corresponding period of 2019. Likewise, Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the year stood at N733.763 billion, against recorded in 2019.
In the same vein, the company’s underwriting profit improved significantly as the total of N802.194 billion from N 301.759 billion reported in the 2019 financial year.
The company’s total net claims paid in 2020 was N598.84 million, whilst N934.70 million has been paid from January 2021 to September.
