Unitrust Insurance Company Limited has pledged to sustain its support to programmes and activities of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
Its Managing Director/CEO, John Ijerheime, said this when management of CIIN led by the President, Edwin Igbiti, paid a courtesy visit to the underwriting firm in Lagos recently.
Ijerheime thanked the President for the visit and implored him to do more by also encouraging members not just to get certifications, but also improve their skills.
Igbiti, while speaking said the focus of his administration will be on synthesizing the gains made by the Past Presidents of the Institute with prominence on the three-point agenda including digital reinforcement of the Institute’s operations; insurance awareness through grassroot, youths, and insuring public; as well as infrastructural expansion.
Igbiti stated that his regime intends to modernize the CIIN institute by empowering its chambers while also creating insurance awareness by creating diaspora chapters, Training the trainers, commence on Digital examinations, and more.
While seeking the cooperation of members companies of the Institute towards achieving the set goals, he said “the above agenda will enable us to work in line with the Institute’s core values and ensure that the Institute lives up to its vision and mission statements.
Chief Marketing Officer, Unitrust Insurance, Dele Oyetunji also assured CIIN that the relationship they have built over the years will only wax stronger as they work together toward achieving goals.
