Annuitants seek transfer as African Alliance Insurance pays August pension benefits

African Alliance Insurance Plc annuitants have commended the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and National Pension Commission (PenCom) for the payments of all their pension benefits arrears as they receive August 2025 payment last week.
Whilst expressing their delights over the payments, they also called on NAICOM and PenCom to ensure a successful ceding of their annuity accounts from African Alliance Insurance Plc to a more stable life insurance company to forestal a repeat of the travails they went through while the company was unable to pay their benefits.
A leader of the annuitants in a statement made available to Inspenonline said: “Latest information on AAI annuities story: The payment of August, 2025 just dropped today 6/9/25 into my bank-account.
“But, no information on the company to continue our services/payment from now on yet.
“Therefore, it’s not over until we know where we’re going and what it takes to get settled.”
He noted that while awaiting their payments, many annuitants died owing to their inability to meet the tough economic realities, adding that they are not ready to go through such tough times again now and the future.

However what assurance do annuitants have on the Company’s ability to continue paying u for life as contained in the signed annuity agreement

The question we all ask is:: can AAIPl guarantee us paying us our monthly pension payments hence?
