Motorists in possession of comprehensive motor insurance policies have continued to complain of harassment by some Police Officers who are demanding that they tender third party motor insurance cover as their stipulated vehicle documents.
An insurer told Inspenonline that some of his company’s policyholders who have comprehensive covers have been reaching out to express their misgivings on the development.
“They should make the partnership more educational. The Police are just exhibiting ignorance on various types of vehicle insurance.
“I have gotten over five calls this week complaining about harassment from the Police despite the fact that they have comprehensive insurance.”
