Driving insurance sales through ‘Be My Witness in Jerusalem’ concept

Sharing personal experiences on the workings of insurance has been revealed as one of the best marketing tools for insurance products sales.

As every good strategy and concepts come from God, the concept of ‘witness’ as stated in ‭Acts 1:8 KJV‬ – “…and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth,” can be considered as the best means to drive insurance sales.

The Lord Jesus who is the best strategist to have lived on earth, instructed His disciples to commence their witnessing responsibility from Jerusalem, which was their place of abode, before moving to the other part of the country and world.

Situating this on driving insurance sales, all insurance practitioners should adopt this concept and mobilise insurance sales from their Jerusalem – their neighbourhoods.

Applying this concept has become necessary going by the public compliant on low insurance awareness.

Amidst the low insurance awareness, there exist insurance practitioners who live and interact with the ignorant citizens daily.

In public places like churches, mosques, schools, clubs, associations amongst others are faithful witnesses that have continued to fail in witnessing.

Being witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, as instructed by Jesus, also implies that insurance practitioners should be insurance witnesses in their places of abode.

It is unfortunate to see insurance practitioners that are pastors, pastoring churches where the entire congregation are uninsured and the infrastructure uninsured. These pastors laid burdens on members to solve problems insurance would have solved.

Same in mosques, insurance practitioners worship with uninsured faithfuls, without witnessing to them about insurance.

Moreso, insurance practitioners own and run schools, where the pupils and students don’t have knowledge on insurance.

Insurance practitioners operate malls, where their products are sold without insurance.

Also insurance practitioners are members of clubs and associations where many of their members lack knowledge on insurance.

It is expected that insurance practitioners should heed and adopt this simple marketing concept that Jesus offered for free if insurance is to take its rightful place in the economy.

From the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to Association of Registered Insurance Agents (ARIAN) and broking, all practitioners should embrace this concept of witnessing and start from their Jerusalem, which is their environment.
