NAIC names Florence Onwuanuokwu Acting Managing Director, as Folashade Joseph retires

The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), has announced the retirement of its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Folashade Joseph and handing over of responsibilities to Mrs. Florence Onwuanuokwu General Manager (Underwriting) in acting capacity as Managing Director/CEO.

The Deputy General Manager Corporate Affairs of NAIC Magdalena Omosimua, said this in a press release, stating that during Mrs. Joseph tenure the corporation not only evolved in its core mandate but also gained new grounds in service delivery, operational efficiency and a lot of stakeholder engagements and that her dedication and expertise are invaluable to the organisation’s growth and success.

In a brief handing over ceremony which took place in Abuja, the Acting Managing Director, Mrs. Onwuanuokwu thanked the outgoing Managing Director for leadership and vision.

Mrs. Folashade Joseph thanked the Federal Government for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity, and thanked the organisation for its cooperation, noting that she is confident that the acting MD/CEO would bring her wealth of experience to bear towards a greater NAIC.

Mrs. Florence Onwuonuokwu has over 34 years experience in the Insurance industry.
