The Department of Actuarial Science & Insurance and Actuarial Club, University of Lagos, have announced plans for the fourth edition of National Risk Compendium (NRC) 4.0, which is expected to spark conversation, ignite innovation and inspire the next generation of professionals in the risk, insurance and actuarial sectors.
A statement by the organisers noted that the event is scheduled for July 10, 2025 at the Nurudeen Alao Hall, DLI, University of Lagos and the themed: ‘The Future of Risk – Innovation and Transformation of Risk Assessment in a Data-driven World’
“In an era defined by rapid technological disruption, evolving financial markets, and increasing global uncertainties, risk management and actuarial science have never been more vital. The National Risk Compendium (NRC) returns for its fourth edition—NRC 4.0—poised to spark conversation, ignite innovation, and inspire the next generation of professionals in the risk, insurance, and actuarial sectors,” the statement reads.
It noted that the NRC 4.0 is more than just a conference—it is a movement.
