Unitrust Insurance appreciates customers, rewards outstanding Staff

Unitrust Insurance Company Limited has assured its customers, shareholders and critical stakeholders that the underwriting firm will scale through the hurdle of the ongoing recapitalisation exercise in insurance sector of the nation’s economy.
This is even as the company awarded its long-standing and outstanding staff for their dedication and commitment to the vision of the underwriting firm.
Giving this assurance at the Unitrust Insurance End-Of-Year Dinner/Award in Victoria Island, Lagos at the weekend, the Managing Director/CEO, Adedayo Arowojolu, said his optimism is backed by the assurance of the board to do everything possible to scale through even as he said, the company is in a comfortable financial position currently to meet the stipulated deadline.
Disclosing that the company recorded a gross premium income of N14 billion in its 2024 financial year, he assured that Unitrust Insurance Company will double that figure in the outgoing year.
Arowojolu attributed the company’s success to the unwavering commitment of its staff and the divine grace, applauding its customers, shareholders and stakeholders for their continued support amd encouragement.
According to him, “the company’s remarkable performance in 2025 is a testament to its dedication to providing innovative insurance solutions to its customers. With a customer base of over 12,000 policyholders, Unitrust Insurance has established itself as a leading player in the Nigerian insurance industry.” .
He also acknowledged the contributions of key customers, including ITV, Superfoods, among others.
The end-of-year celebration featured the presentation of awards to staff in various categories, recognizing their dedication and contributions to the company’s growth.
The Extra Mile Award and Code Red Award went to AbdulRahman AbdulFatai; Adebayo Stephen won the Unitrust Innovation Award; Best Dressed Female Award was for Miriam Efedhoma-Okeke while Abiodun Akinnibosun won the Best Dressed Male Award even as Cordelia was decorated the Best Cleaner Award.
For Long Service Award, Nkechi Agu who already spent 25years with the company;.Ijeoma Patrick – 20years with Unitrust; Emmanuel Aniemeke- 20years;Ebuka Williams – 15years; Joy Isemede – 15years and Ngozi Odikanu – 10years were all rewarded for their years in service of the insurer.
The event was attended by the company’s board of directors, management, and staff, as well as customers and stakeholders.
