The Chairman, Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited and Former President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) Dr. Feyisayo Soyewo, has won Achievers magazine, lifetime achievement award.

The award was conferred on him on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Asiwaju Court, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

Accepting the award, Dr. Soyewo, appreciated the publisher of the Magazine, Yomi Ogunsanu for considering him eligible for the award after his two respected elders: Senator Dr. Jubril Martins Kuye OFR (of blessed memory) and Major-General Dr. S. A. Awosanya Rtd (Baba Oba of Ago-Iwoye), had won the award in the past.

“I humbly accept this Award believing it will encourage me into doing greater thing that will excite my well wishers and the good people that God surrounded me with. I dedicate this Award to all the good people who kept encouraging me daily for greater achievements.

“My message on this occasion to all of you good people at this award ceremony is for you and me to look for ways to be good to people at all time,” he said.

Dr. Soyewo noted that being good to people is better than preaching sermon and that being kind, generous, compassionate, speaks much louder than any words.

He maintained that we should have a goal every day to do at least one good thing for somebody and we don’t have to wait for a special occasion, stressing that it doesn’t have to be Christmas, birthday, wedding anniversary, but just an ordinary day.

“But you can be good to the people God put in your life. You need to study them. Listen to what they are saying and be sensitive to their needs,” he said.

He canvassed that we should not miss an opportunity to be good to people, adding that
when we’re good to people, we’re sowing a seed for God to be good to us and that we should time to compliment someone and brighten their day.

“That doesn’t cost you anything.
The more you bless others, the more God will bless you. I realize my assignment is to be good to people. That’s one of the main reasons God has put you here,” he posited.

According to him, if we’re going to reach our highest potential, we have to make it a priority to be a blessing to others and not just in big things, even in small things,
like giving a compliments.

All through the day we should be looking for ways we can be good to people, he canvassed.
