Casava Insurance has appointed Adeolu Adewumi-Zer as its newest Board Advisor. With a career spanning over two decades, Adeolu has established herself as a formidable leader in the realms of business strategy, corporate governance, executive leadership, and advisory.

Adewumi-Zer’s journey in the insurance sector is marked by her transformative leadership as the former Managing Director/CEO of Allianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd, a groundbreaking role she embraced in September 2020. During her tenure at Allianz Nigeria, a subsidiary of the globally renowned Allianz SE, Adeolu’s strategic vision was instrumental in the acquisition of the company, showcasing her capability to navigate and lead through complex mergers and acquisitions. This achievement was part of her broader role within the Allianz Group as the Regional Head of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Transformation Africa, where she managed an impressive portfolio nearing half a billion Euros across the continent.Before ascending to the CEO position, Adeolu made history as the first and only female member of the Allianz Nigeria board, serving as a Non-Executive Director.
Currently, Adewumi-Zer works as the founder and Managing Director at Zer Consulting, a pan-African consultancy dedicated to fostering sustainable growth through strategy planning, leadership development, and executive insights at conferences worldwide. Her pioneering spirit and strategic insights have been pivotal in reshaping the landscape of the insurance industry in Nigeria and beyond.
