LASACO Assurance Plc has received the backing of the Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce in its approach to risk management aimed at winning investor confidence.
A statement from the firm on Sunday said the firm’s marketing drive was specially applauded by a former President of the NBCC, Dr. Micheal Olawale-Cole.
Speaking at a bi-monthly members’ evening of the NBCC, which was sponsored by the insurance firm, Cole said LASACO Assurance had the pedigree to provide the needed cover for any risk that might arise in the course of any commercial activity.
He stated that a business activity was better enhanced with virile risk management, asserting that LASACO Assurance had remained a dominant force and great support for the organised private sector.
In his presentation at the event, the Assistant General Manger, Marketing (Lagos & South-West), LASACO, Mr. Akintunde Akinyanju, reiterated the commitment of the company to support the economic activities and aspirations of investors and stakeholders.
He said, “We recognise the pivotal role of insurance in economic development and have positioned LASACO Assurance to offer world-class services to all players. All necessary factors to make this possible have been carefully selected and blended together to ensure customer satisfaction.”
“Our highly skilled manpower, process, structure and deployment of technology are a clear testimony of our resolve not just to deliver insurance services but peace of mind,” he added.
Akinyanju stated that the sponsorship of the programme was in tandem with the corporate philosophy of the company to partner with stakeholders in charting a new course for the nation’s economy.
