The West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA) and Organisation of Eastern & Southern Africa Insurers (OESAI) have announced plan to host a free webinar on cyber insurance capacity development.
A statement by Secretary General/Chief Executive Officer WAICA, Davis Iyasere, said the theme of the webinar is Cyber Insurance Capacity Development, adding that it would hold on February 27, 2024, via Zoom and by 9:30 AM West African Time (WAT)/12:30PM EAT/11:30AM CAT.
He noted that the free webinar is aimed at adding value to the business of members, stating that members are requested to nominate their staff and plan to attend.
According to him, some of the dignitaries being expected are: Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, HE Christopher Histoff; Acting CoF Ghana, Michael Andoh; Elias Osmondi of FSD Africa and DG, Nigerian Information Development Agency, (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi. a representative of Canadian Business Network is also expected to present a paper at the event.
