All is set for the hosting of the maiden Inspenonline Retirement Summit, holding tomorrow Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Radisson Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Convener of the Summit/Publisher Inspenonline Chuks Udo Okonta, said the event will commenced by 9:00am, adding that everything has been put in place to achieve a successful outcome.

He noted that the dignitaries expected at the event have confirmed attendance, whilst imploring the public to attend the event which is first of its kind in the country.

According to him, one of the main highlights of the event would be the unveiling of Insurfeel Initiative and donation of insurance covers to 10 lucky attendees.

He submitted that the donation is part of Insurfeel Initiative’s one million insurance covers donation agenda.

He stated that the organisation would be donating Uni-personal cover and School Fees Protection Plan to the uninsured at the event.

According to him, the Summit themed: Promoting Retirement Without Tears Through Insurance and Pension, would help set a new template for redefining retirement lifestyle.

Okonta appreciated all those that have made commitments to attend the event, which is first of its kind, whilst imploring those who seek knowledge on how to retirement comfortably to attend the event which is free.

He maintained that prominent amongst those attending the summit are: members of Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA); Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC); Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC); Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) and Pension Desk Officers (PDOs).

Others are, members of informal sector, insurance operators, pension operators, lecturers, students, workers and retirees.

Okonta submitted that the
2024 Inspenonline Retirement Summit, was designed to provide the requisite knowledge needed to aid the public to effectively plan and enter retirement life smiling and also help those in retirement rediscover themselves.

“Why would you spend thousands of naira to attend retirement seminars, while you can get the needed knowledge for free,” he enquired.

The event, which he christened the University of Retirement, has Faculty Leaders, such as, Chairman of event, Past President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN)/former Managing Director Sterlingb Assurance Limited, Fatai Lawal.
